USP-grade sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which acts as a preservative to prevent microbial growth after the vial is opened. Required for reconstituting lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptide powders before use in research. The benzyl alcohol content allows the reconstituted solution to be stored at 2–8°C for up to 28 days without contamination.
