Quality & Testing
Every compound supplied by Velox Peptides is tested by an independent third-party laboratory before dispatch. No batch is released without a certificate of analysis confirming HPLC purity and molecular identity.
HPLC Purity Testing
HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) is a standard laboratory technique for measuring purity. A sample of the compound is passed through a column and the different components separate out — letting the lab measure exactly how much of what's in the vial is the actual compound and how much is anything else.
Every batch must pass an independent HPLC test before it is released. Purity results are documented in the batch certificate of analysis supplied with your order.
Certificate of Analysis
A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is a document from the testing laboratory confirming what is in a specific batch of compound. It records the HPLC purity result, mass spectrometry confirmation (a separate test that confirms the compound's molecular weight matches what it should be), and visual appearance.
A batch-specific CoA is included with every order. Historical batch CoAs are archived in our CoA library.
Storage & Handling
All compounds are supplied as lyophilised powder (freeze-dried, which removes moisture and makes the compound stable at low temperatures). Stored correctly, lyophilised peptides remain stable for extended periods.
All compounds should be stored at 2–8°C, protected from light, in a dry environment. Once reconstituted (dissolved in liquid for use in experiments), compounds should be used promptly and stored according to the CoA guidelines. Full storage instructions are on each product page and CoA.
Our testing process
-
Batch received from manufacturer
Each batch arrives with manufacturer documentation. No batch enters stock before independent testing.
-
Independent HPLC analysis
Samples from every batch are sent to an independent third-party laboratory for HPLC purity testing and mass spectrometry confirmation of molecular identity.
-
Certificate of Analysis issued
The laboratory produces a batch-specific CoA documenting purity, molecular weight, and visual appearance. This document is reviewed before the batch is approved.
-
Batch approved and stored
Approved batches are stored at the correct temperature and humidity conditions until dispatch. Batches that do not meet the purity threshold are not released.
-
CoA dispatched with every order
The batch CoA for the specific vial(s) in your order is included with your shipment. You can verify the exact purity figures for your batch.
Coming soon. Full testing documentation and methodology details — including laboratory accreditation information and example CoA documents — will be published here shortly.
